Although the still images you can capture under a microscope are very powerfull, I always try to get some movement into the frame:) Those are my first tests that involve some random movement. Enjoy:

Dissecting flowers
Today I got some flowers in order to search for some nice looking pollen. I should have probably checked which species have interesting pollen shapes, because I only found boring, rounded shapes.
Luckily flowers also have other parts, so there you are, a few pictures:
and last comes my personal favourite. I'm not sure what it is, probably some floral part, found in honey.
I want to use what's left of the flowers to learn how to make stack images. More pictures soon:)

The microscope and animation
This is my first year's project at filmschool - an animated short inspired by the micro-world. At first I wanted to include real footage of the little creatures. Finally I decided to represent them in a larger scale and give them the life I wanted for them.

Not-so-advaced lighting techniques:)
Checking out the possibilities of my microscope, and trying to make dark field pictures by putting black paper in various places of the condensor I got this. It's not quite dark field, but the result is interesting:

First attempts at microphotography
I finally bought a microscope and spent the last few days looking every single thing I found in my room trough it. Here are some of the pictures I made:
